The Toronto clinic, located in the heart of midtown, opened its doors in 2016.
We acknowledge the land our Toronto clinic is on is the traditional territory of many nations
including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the
Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First
Nations, Inuit and Métis. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13
with the Mississaugas of the Credit.

When well-known learning specialist Dr. Steve Truch founded The Reading Foundation in 1990. He wanted to create a space where students could come and learn practical methods for reading and comprehension. Over 30 years later, we have expanded our operations to other locations, including Toronto. We are not like tutoring facilities. You and our educational clinicians work together to help you better understand and develop habits leading to success.
We may have started our educational programs to help with reading and comprehension skills, but you can also visit when looking for math or writing help. If you are unaware of how you learn, our initial In-Depth Learning Assessment will help to pinpoint areas of learning weakness. From there, you will receive a personalized plan to help you navigate your scholastic troubles with confidence. The Reading Foundation separates itself from your basic tutoring facility by focusing on the root cause of our students’ learning issues.
