About Us
With clinics in Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto, and Los Angeles, The Reading Foundation specializes in assessing and treating learning difficulties through intensive, one-to-one remediation programs. We support students with challenges in:

Our approach is rooted in the latest research and aligned with educational therapy best practices, not traditional tutoring. We work with a diverse range of students, from preschoolers to adults, each with unique learning profiles.
What We're Looking For

Ideal candidates will have:
- The ability to quickly build rapport with students of all ages
- Patience, empathy, and a positive, growth-oriented mindset
- Adaptability in teaching style to meet individual student needs
- Strong reading, spelling, and communication skills
Helpful Backgrounds
We welcome applicants with education or experience in:
- Psychology
- Linguistics, English, or Cognitive Science
- Education or Educational Assistant (EA) programs
- Sociology
No prior clinical experience is required—all positions include internal training in our specialized instructional methods.
Your Role as a Clinician
As a clinician at The Reading Foundation, you will:
- Deliver one-to-one instruction using our proven remediation programs
- Follow individualized student programs designed by a Team Leader
- Communicate regularly with your team to support each student’s progress
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and inclusive work culture
